1 Monday. We are taking up our roots for the Fair
2 Raining. We sent Mangolds beets Orange carrots B. turnips, pease potatoes & two lambs Stoofs paid $2.00.
3 We got 1st carrots. 2. Mangolds 2d beets 3 turnips 3d for Sable. Bought codfish at Gadboe's 35 cts .35.
4 Jimie was on the road yesterday with Dolly and Ronsas buckboard and was run into by a drunken man and has the buckboard broken, had to send it to Barrets.
6 To Beef 6 lbs = 10 cts {?60} - 4 lb sugar 90 90
20 To 11 1/4 lb beef 8 = 90. Far came home Wednesday, we got 100 of flour from uncle Donald There is a game of football today between Cornwall & Wmstown, got 5 lb codfish 35
21 Sunday cold but sunshine
22. Pa & Jimie were at N Branch I washed. Big Bill Campbell was married to Libby McKenzie, on Thursday in Cornwall. {?} McGillivrey. bride 23 Groom 60
23. Pa and Jimie were at Lancaster today Snider's infant child 11 days old was buried today

5 I was very busy and forgot to write anything since the 23d August. This is Guy Faux day, Jimie & I went to Lancaster. Rayside was here to see about the railing got 25 bs oat meal ---75
6 Jimie & Papa were out to Angus McGregors to see George Jamison about putting up the railing. I bought at McPherson's, Lancaster, 13 yds gray flan. to make Far. four shirts 45 cts pr yd. 5.79. 3 yds cotton 21 Bought at H Monros four pair boots all but 1 pair too {?} Our Sacreament was on Sunday Barret preached on Friday and Sunday night. I got my yarn from Factory 5 lbs 3/4 qrt 82 cts I washed it today. The wind is very high, looks like snow or rain 6.6
7 Birdie and I went to Lancaster exchanged the boots Ran's cost $1.50 Bird's 1.40. Marion's 75. Mine 1.00 = 4.65
Thanksgiving. had preaching.
9 Jamison came today and began to put up the railing Uncle Donald is working at McNico's railng. got 1/2 lb tea 25. 4 lb sug. 47
10 Ran & I went to Colier's to see about weaving it was pretty cold. Our folk and Uncle Donald finished their railings Jamison was not with them today
12 The wind is very high. I washed but cant hang out the clothes. I have ro reel yarn to send to the weavers
13 Jimie & I went to the Gore to Coliers it began to snow when we were near the R.R. We went to Uncle Donald
