1 If evening is like a lion will make March go out as a lamb Thursday & Friday it stormed wild I dont know when it changed but it is not very stormy today To, 8 loaves =56 56
2 Sunday I went to Church, not church, preaching was in the Hall
3 Monday Elizabeth got her dress from Montreal today by express cost her 40 cts 30 express 10 stage
4 Elizabeth & I and Far went to see Aunt Kate. Marjory is still alive but very weak.
5 Mary McIntyre came here last evening Elizabeth went off today
6 Mary & I went to Prayer Meeting Jimie is bad with tooth ache and head ache. We are going to Cornwall tomorrow Aunt Annie & I have to go to receive our legacies
7 We went to Cornwall. Peter John Ferguson drove us Duncan & Jimie went with us. Jimie had four teeth filled and the dentist tried to pull a back tooth but could not he broke it off. The filling was $.4.00 I got $.87 1/2 of Interest on $700 Bought at Kirkpatr. 10 yds shirting 100. 12 yds check's 204. 1 neck tie 50 1 pair B.K. gloves 100. 1 silk Kerchief 75 cts 1 satchel 1.100 3 yds cashmere 1.55 2 yds silicia 44. 2 1/2 {waist?} lining 37 1 doz spools thread 48 at druggists Hall 100 = assafs 1 doz lemons 25 music 5 We paid $.2.50 for the team 75 cts for dinner 4.00 3.54 2.75 2.16 1.55 .30
8 It is well we went yesterday to Cornwall for it is storming. Evening a great deal of snow got syrup 20 cts ginger 5 cts 25
9 Sunday still storming Murdy & Birdie 25 each. 50

13 Jimie very bad today. Had Mrs. Coria helping me wash. had two weeks clothes {57c?} Yesterday, got at Gadboe's 2 1/2 yds Cotton 12 = 30 - 2 lbs sugar .10 20 at Dan's 1 paper pinds 5 cts. 1 needles 5 10 I was at Aunties this evening The roads were very bad. 14 Got a copy of John's Will from {lyach?} for Annie & I. 50 cts each News of the war in London 13th General Graham's forces Captin Osman Digna's camp routed his forces, his loss. Digmas 4000 killed 6000 wounded. British loss 70 killed 100 wounded a terrible Collery explosion at Pocahontas W. Va on the night of the 12 March over 150 supposed to be Killed.

16 Another fine day I was to church. A very good sermon by McGilliavry. Jimie McRory daughter was buried yesterday Ronald Ranald Grant's daughter will be buried tomorrow both deaths consumption
