5 Wednesday Morning fine but got ugly I did not go to prayer meeting I have a tooth ache.
6 Thanksgiving. I sent a letter to Murdy and $1.00 Birdie was in Church the only one from our house. They had a meeting after the sermon to see what they would do about keeping the Church open one year for McGillivray 1.00
7 To one barrel herring, at Willies

11 I got up this morning with quite a headache and before 10 A.M. I was almost crazy I did not cook nore eate any dinner I was in bed until evening
12 I am a good deal better today Birdie (stayed at home today Jimie made the bread 17 leaves, sponged it last night Prue paid $.2.50 for rent. Lauder paid $.7.00 last night of borrowed money. Far was spending the evening at Urquharts yesterday and he has gone to Martintown tonight. They finished the bordage today I had two letters yesterday one from Murdy the other from Annie McDonell

15 Auntie & Jimie were here last night; Far was at a party at Lancaster last night it was in the new foundary. The weather is very fine
16 Beautiful day Rev Mr Leitch preached I was not thair
17 Another fine day. Jimie is sick with toothache he got a pair of felt boots at Willies. 300 Ice on the river. P.M. a little rain 3.00
18 A lovely day hard frost last night. Pa & Far at bush cutting wood and making road. All the children are on the ice. I baked today but I am not well

22 Butchered one pig (Sam was here,) weighed 85 lbs
