February 1888

1 Fine day. Pa & Far went to Cornwall. took a grist of 24. bush. 3 pick wheat Pa got Ran a fur cap $.200. And got the Statutes for 1887.
2 Thursday Womans meeting at John McLaurins R.R. 18 present the old officers reappointed. Got 1/2 qrts coaloil at D's charged has been a very fine day
3 Lovely day. sent letter to Murdy $11.00 McKillop $5.00 wrote Sandy
4 got pd due bill from Dan, and paid for the things we got
5 Rev. {Cosivan?} preached. Morning he read 13 chapt. 1st Corinth and Psalm 107 to the 32 vers. text 1st John 4 chapt. 16 verse God is love.
6 This has been a fine day. 11 P.M. I was at the Temperance Meeting There was a very good attendance. Donald the Widow , D.D. has a raffle tonight at Sullivans
