Dane Mapin here for dinner. Jack & he went away about four o'clock. Thunder storms going round all day. Raining mostly all afternoon and {guile?} heavy about seven & eight o'clock.

WEDNESDAY, 25
Dull & cloudy. Pick up barbecque on fence on other place, uncovered trough at four driving house and put in a tile at the hydrant! Uncle Sam & Etta here in evening. I took {Mis Goherforky} to morning train.
