Brock drawing out manure all day. Jack never came. Mr.Downer here to fix separator. Fine but looking like rain.
Tuesday, 7
Brock drawing our manure for potatoes. Up to Elwin's after tea for his seed drill. {illegible}. Brought back riding plough. Mother & I to town in P.M. Fine and warmer.

Cultivated 4 ac. Behind low driving house and sowed & harrowed it in afternoon to barley. {illegible} Will and Mr.Wilson here for tea. They have a new Paige Sedow. Fine and warm.
