Mr. McQueen was to come over after meeting but called at 9 and at 9.30 And we were not home. Meeting long drawn out. |

Mild Spring temperature in the Morning but raining in the afternoon and quit cool at night. Knit 6 inches and the belt of dress for Frances. Did short-hand and French. Went down town in the afternoon. Mrs. Pearce gave Notice yesterday that She is going to be married and will leave on 8th December. Over 5 years in the office. Will be hard to get any one to take her place.
