April

M. 2nd Delivered a load of cedar posts (17) to John C. Kennedy which Robert promised toward fencing in the marker square. Getting out cedar.

T. 3rd. Getting out cedar. Robert send a Leader news. to Aunt George.

W. 4th. Hauled cedar to the point of the Gore. Omitted last Monday to state that Father was helping Mr. Campbell to saw wood.

Th. 5th. This morning to Port Elgin 1 plow share of Gordons on A/C. Afternoon thrashing peas. Robert choping firewood.

F. 6th. Thrashing peas. One of Mr. Delfs ewes brought forth two lambs, a black and a white one the black one died.

S. 7th. Thrashing peas Robert paid Iden $27. on his Note.

S. 8th. One of Mr Delfs ewes lambed one lamb.

M. 9th One of Mr Delfs ewes lambed but the lamb died. Thrashing peas. Sold my Florence heifer to Mr. Samuel Bricker for the sum of Twenty two Dolrs. Ten of which is to be cash the rest to settle the Note they hold against me and also Roberts A/C.

T. 10th. Finished thrashing peas & cleaning them up. Father helping Iden to saw wood.

W. 11th. Cleaned up peas etc. Father helping Iden.
