S. 14th. Robert went to Port Elgin with 12 B. 17 lbs of potatoes. Six Bushls 16 lbs for Kennedy and Six Bushls 1 lb for MacLachlin, fetched the chopt stuff from mill.
M. 16th. Picking over potatoes and laying them where the water cannot reach them.
T. 17th. Picking potatoes in the cellar. Father draging in the pasture field. C F S. plowing half day for spring wheat.
W. 18th. Sowed 15 Bushls. of peas on 51/2 acres of ground C F S. plowing all day. Last night a letter from Uncle Fred Parker.
Th. 19th. Sowed 49 pints of Clover seed on seven acres of ground also mixed therewith 21 pints of Timothy. C F S. plowing this afternoon. Robert and myself tried my little oxen at the plowing this morning. Fred bought Alberts shoes from Mr Georges where they had been to be mended.
F. 20th Making fence for C F S. 3/4 of a day. C F S. 3/4 of a day plowing for us. Bought of Gordon 4 slow chains and a quarter of oil linseed.
S. 21.st. 1/2 day fence making for C F S. C F S. plowing all day for us. Robert hauled the balance of the turnips home, then fetched some Hemlock trees home and planted them out in front of the house.

W. 25th. Draging with two teams Father helping. Rob: chopping firewood.
Th. 26th. Self on the sick list with cold. Robert rolling, Father draging. Fetched my ox collars from the harness makers The fixing and neck straps cost one Dolr. 25 cts. to be paid in butter or cash.
