T. 12th. Went with the oats to mill and brought them back again. Paid Mrs Goble for the tallow we had of her 11 lbs. at 121/2 per lb. $1.371/2. 12 Bolts of Macintosh at 25 cts. each $3.00 making road in the Gore in the afternoon.
W. 13th. Cleaned up wheat for mill. Went to mill with seven bags and a half of wheat and one and a half of Corn? Mr Hunter paid me for the beef her had 60 c. Posted a paper to Aunt George.
Th. 11th. Chopping.
F. 15th. Chopping.
S. 16th. Hauling firewood and hardwood rails for the orchard fence.
M. 18th. Fetched my new sleigh from Mr. J. Goble his charge for making it $1.50. Took it to J. MacKintoshes to get the shoes put on which cost $ George Roppel paid me the .80 cents which he owed me this is payment in full to this date. Fetched the grist from the mill.
T. 19th. Hauling out wood for our own use at the Gore. Let Fred have Twenty five cents.
