8 | began to snow last night the snow is A foot deap this this morning with a litle rain snowed all this fournoon the slaughs is runing wood and logs | |

12 | Ad went at six oclock this morning to the chanty for a load of wood get home & then him Wallace & Bruce went to the River & brought a load of Ice it is good | |

15 | Ad went to the River for Ice this morning and him ad Birion brought a load home by noon and went again and brought 3 loads more | |
