The boys went down to Sunday school and church Dad (after a good deal of squirming) also attende trhe morning service, he tried to induce me to go but when I unselfishly offerd to stay at home to take his place he couldn't very well get out of it. I cut a littl wood watered the horses & fooled around. I wemnt out once with the rifle in quest of crows but as none were in evidence in the vicinty of the cornfoeldd I in my wrath sought to drive a bullet to the heart of the hickory nut tree, but owing to my unpraciced marksmanship it escaped unscathed. Lila came over this afternoom amnd she and Frank went bacl to the gully armed woth the rifle and rerturned this evening with a quantity of wild strawberriesm which we were nt aware of being developed into an edible condition, Dad, Enah & Tiddums went down to the Woodson's tioll the latter grw into such a state of excitment which was
