I drove Dick down to the bank first thing this morning and when I got back Dad. and I hoked Harry and Belle to the sleigh and went down to Porter's, we didn't get back till about noon. Sam Law came over while we were gone and fired up and they got sgtarted up about one o'clock, and finsihed about four, there was about two bags and a half of seed from the four loads. Allan & Jim Law & Bert Munroe were all down at Ern Flemming's to a dance last night and didn't get in till about six o'clock this morning they said they had a fone time tbut thought it a litle strange that they should be invited to aprivate house with the stipulation that the ladies wre to bring refreshments, and that a collection should be taken up to pay the fiddler, and that the host should keep two dollars out, and submit the remaining five to the fiddler, who wasa from Waddle.
