Sunday July 26th

I didn't get up till vert late this morning and haven't been off ther place all day. I just chored around slept & read. and to-night wrote a letter to Aunty & Aunty Alice and another to Roy. Frank went down to church and Sunday sxchool rthis morning and has been riding around on his wheel the rest of the day. He went to the stump for a swim to-night. Dad. Enah & Tiddums drove over to John Wess McBride this morning before Tid. has his morning sleep and he hasn;t slept a wink all day. Dad. tried to have a sleep this afternoon but Tiddums wouldn't allow it. Dad. and Ena wanted to go down to the Methodist Church to hear Mr. Crocker sing but Tiddums wouldn't go to sleep and was inclined to be cranky so they didn't go. Dick got home late to-night burned to a crisp. I guess he didn't enjoy his sail as much as he exxpected. He and Hazen didn;t get out of the boat till Sunday Morning and they left here at six oc'lock Saturday night but there was no wind. They wernt ovee to Ryersossns's Island where Joe & Huby long hjoined them and they went in fr a swim. They saw Quint & George Hamaker ovewr there. They had a good sail home tey left at twelve and got here abouttweo o'clock. Poor old A.M. Todd formerly of the "Maple Leaf" died rto-sday of heart failure in bathing in the lake. They didn't
