Line 1: Line 1:
experimenting with the old moulding planes which were in the tool chest. They work far better than I thought. After dinner we took seven of the biggest pigs out of the pen and put them over in the barn inthe pen made this morning. Dad. & I each took a front leg and Huby took the hind legs and we just carried them that way They were just about all we could handle too. We rubbed each one with crud eoil before putting them in as the lice were rather thicvk on them. Frank and Tiddums watched the caught ones while we were after another. Tiddums was a little afraid when they squealed but verey much interested. Dick came over post haste afyer dinner to infoem us that Vernon & Rebecca came up to the Woodson't to-day, so Enah went over to see them. Vernon brought the baby up as she hasn't been able eart ot sleep well lately. They are going to be here till after Thanksgiving. Dad. spent the rest of the after noon in fixing the pig pen so thr four left could roost upstairs in stead of the other half so as the old sow could use it. Huby & Frank fanned wheat and I cut lawn. Mrs. McBride was here all day. Enah went down to "Pinafore" practice to-night & Frank to conformation class. It was cloudy most of the day & cold, but we thought, but to-night it is very black & sprinkling.
