Line 1: Line 1:
all Huby's family except Aunty Maude who is at Uncle Wards look after Mrs. Schofield who got "took bad" the other dau but is now better. We just ha dtea over here but had a Christmas tree for Tid. and Huby acted as Santa Claus. He nearly gave poor Aunt Ida a fit laughing at his actions and words, there was quite an array of dandy presents considering nobody was going to give any. I drove them all back in the sleigh quite early but had ot leave Huby at the Sovereign's as mrs. Schofield wouldn't mind them and he had to pretend he was the doctor so Win & Lila stayed at Aunty Alices all night. it has been very soft and mild all day but is colder to-nihgt.
