tea in time to catch the train but we had to wait about an hour as the Hamilton train was held up at Caledonia by the storm, and the Dover train had to wait at Rymal to get through, we saw Win. and two of her friends at the station for a minute or two.

Thursday December 30th

We have pit in all our soare tme to-day puttinf the floor in th chicken shed and got all the joice in place and spliced an d mearly a third of the floor laid. Frank was here to help us, no he wasn't either. I have got. alittle mixed up Dad. and I just got some of the joice in to-day Lovely day sunny and cold. FRank took rhe old sow down to Porter's.
