Frank and I went down town in the waggomn this morning. I banked some money and sent Douglas a check for my note. $84.80. Just did cores this after noon. Dad. cleaned ditches this after noon morning and plowed this after noon Went down to the first meeting oof the club to-night in Mrs. Belle's ctagge. There was quite a crowd there both boys 7 gorls a nd we had a big time dancing & picking up a row. High cold wind. Freezing

Thursday November 23rd

It rained nearly all day. Ham & Bert Thompson came over this morning and bought all the thin roosters at 12 1/2 cts. Frank and I took them down after dinner I got $9.38 for them. I stopped in at Jack Martin's on my way home and he paid me $18.07 for eggs & cockrels. We picked three chickens in the shop this morning Harry Smith from the Lake Shore was in for about an hour to ask Dad about a sick cow.
