This has been a very lazy day for me. Dad. and I took Billy out this morning for a lesson on the reins and he did very well. The trailing after him seemed to give me a pain nand it stayewd with me all day. I just sat around from the time we came in till dinner time. Dad. went out to hoe in the garden but he said he couldn't find the stuff that was up so he came in and read Whitcomb Riley to us. Frank went to Simcoe on the early car and got back about noon. He got a new horse collar and got some other purchasing. This after noon Frank & George hoed out in the garden. I slep for about an hour after dinner and then Dad. and I got out with the cultivator and old Harry and cultivatored the garden. Enah, Tid. & Marion went dowen to the Lake for a swim. Mario stayed at Aunty's for tea and George and I walked down after tea. Mrs. Millman & Billy were there for tea an d Billy was landing them the manuscript of a book he is writing.
