I watered and fed the horses before it was good day light when I went in the stable after breakfast I saw poor Joe could not put her near hind foot on the floor on examining it I found a two inch nail in at the point of the frog and I had quite a time getting it out. I finally managed it with the hammer, she is very lame I had to take Harry and Queen to finish cutting the oats. Dick took the cows up for me. It has been fair and warmer to day. |
