I did not manage to get much done today but the chores. I watered and fed the horses before it ewas good daylight whewre i wet in th stable after breakfast I saw poor Joe could not put her near hind foot on the floor on examining it I found a two inch nail in it at the point of ther g=frog and I had quite a time getting it out. I finally manage dit with the hammer, she is very lame I had to take harry and Queent to ficish cutting the oats. Dick took the cows up for me. Ithas been fair and warmer to day.
