| + | Dad. ploughed this morning and I cut lawn and after dinner dad. & I went out to the side road and got the snow fence that the township council or road officials put out there and brought it up and put it around the stack as the calves and sheep were runbing and oulling at it. Dad. then went back to plough for a whule and I wired the snow fence to-gether and didn't do any thing else much till chore time. To-night I went down and joined ther band and we all went out to Joim Ross's to a Women's Auxillary garden party. It was very cold down there but we ha da pretty good time. Theor rogramme was so rotten it was funny. Tom Butcher of Nanticoke was the rincipal entertainer and he appears to be batty. Mrs. Hank Simclair told fortunes and I think it was young mason who ha dan old stove out under an apple tree frying hot dogs. He aso sold ice cream but most people were too frozen to want to buy it. | ||
