Snowed a little during the n ight but has been very soft all day and there was quite a thunder stsorm to-night. I did chores this morning and then went up to George Duncan's to see if I could get some setting hens. He said I could but wasn't very sure which ones were the best sitters so told me to come up again in a day or two. I didn't go back to the farm this after noon but went down towen and Bill finished fixing my tooth. Marj. went down with me and we stayed at Aunty's for tea and then I went to band practice and Marj. went tot he girls auxillary meeting. Dad. & Frank cleane dup the cellar & sorted trhe potatoes. It was pourinf rain when we cam ehome to-nigjht.
