All that racket of course scared Cnocfierna and she surged back and broke her stancion and backed out right on top of poor Dad. I had been washing off their bag so the floor behind them was awfully mucky so that he was a terrible sight but fortunately not seriously hurt but pretty badly bruised. I stayed scared for a long time and when I saw Mr. Charles Aikens I told him to get off the place and stay off. |
