There was a white frost last night we noticed it on the stable troof but nowhere else. It is the first we have seen although Bill Donald said he had seen it beofre at his place. There has been avery cold north wind all day and every now and then a driving little drizzle which didnnt wet anything but which was strong enough to make the sheep huddle in an. unch and the colts hump around with their backs to it. I wernt over to Tom & Mark's this morning to borrow a couple o f abgs of wheat. Dad thought that as they had the mill they would have some cleane dup, but they hadn't used it yet. They were both out worjing on their wheat ground but came in and ckleaned up a couple ofbags for me. I took it right to the back foeld and Dad. drille dit. I harrowed after the fdrill and this D=after noon Dad. ran out the ditches.
