Sunday October 9th

It rained hard again this morning and made things very sloppy but it cleared off about breakfast and has been sunny and windy all day but not cold. Marj. Tim and I drove Joe down to Sunday school and Dad. and Enah drove down to church with Mexico. Walter Elsie & John were in church. John is a great boy, very quiet, but not bashful and aparently very cheerful. Marj. & I drove home with Joe & Dad. & Tim with Mexico. Enah stayed at her mothers for dinner and went to Vittoria this after noon with the choir They went up to swell the musical part of the harvest home service which the Vittoria congregation held to-day. This after noon Dad. & Tim drove Queen down and took Walter for a short drive around town. Marj. & I went for a walk around by the Upper Pond where Marj. had never been before. We noticed Henry Misener had a nice lot of apples so went in to see if we could get some for Mr. Clark. Henry said we could. {Hazel?} is there with her twins so we had to have a look at them. They are rather a hard looking pair. The female twin doesn't seem to be doing very well for the feed it is getting. The Barwell's brought Enah home after church to-night.
