It didn't rain much last night but we couldn't do any thing with the clover seed so I went down and got a load of coal as Clare Deal sent word over yesterday that there was a car in. I went over first and saw Billy Mills and borrowed their waggon as we can't use our old one. I went on down and saw McMullen and he said he would be over next week to buy a couple of ewes. When I got down town nearly to the track I met Harve Leany and he told me I would have to go to the canning factory to weigh as the scales were broken at the coal office, that delayed things and I didn't get home till nearly noon. This after noon I went down and got another load and then took the waggon back. Pickford came over after dinner and got another ewe for $6.50. Aunty & Marj. planted out a lot of the things we got from Miss McQueen. This after noon they all went over to the Martins. Dad. and Enah went down to choir practice to-night and I spent part of the evening cutting an ugly face in a pumpkin for Tid's benefit. It has been a beautiful day, very mild, fog to-night.
