seem like very first class feed for them but maybe it wont hurt them. I spent most of the forenoon doing chores but went out about eleven and opened some ditches for Dad. and then came up and dug the dahlias. This afternoon I chored around and cleared up the dahlia tops and put the roots in a crate and went out and dug a few potatoes, besides doing a few other odd jobs. Marj. went down town this after noon and to-night feels tough with a headache. Much milder to-day. Sunny this morning, turning cloudy.

We got a good early start this morning and Dad. got a good day's ploughing in. I did up the chores this morning and then went out and dug all the potatoes I could carry up in a bag and a pail. I couldn't dig any and leave them out there on account of the cows. There are a lot of nice ones out there but in places it is too wet to dig them and I am afraid they will rot. I didn't do any thing much this after noon but chores as it drizzled and rained most of the after noon. Marj went down town this after noon and I went down later and we had tea at Auntys. I was late for tea as just about dark Schyler brought two fellows in to buy sheep. It is so long since we have seen anyone on an errand of that kind that I felt very rejoiced and sold them eight seep at $10 apiece. The fellow was Death of the Syndicate farm at Simcoe. He wants them bred and I am to deliver them in a month. The price is low compared to former years but is away ahead of butcher's which is 3 cts per pound. To-night I went with Aunty, Aunty Alice & Marj. to the Bible Class. It was very interesting. Cousin Willie was there and he & Mr. Cornish held a long discussion afterwards concerning various points of belief which was also entertaining.
