The ground froze last night but turned softer in the night and rained or drizzled most of the morning. Dad went out and ploughed this after noon and I just did chores. Marj. went down this afternoon and stayed at Miss McQueen's for tea. I left Dad to do the milking to-night and went down to the Father & Son banquet in the Methodist church sunday school about six. I needn't have hurried as we didn't have tea till after seven and it was after ten when I got down to Aunty's to call for Marj. Capt Tom. Best of the Y.M.C.A. was the speaker. |
