Thursday November 24th

Dad. has felt much better to-day and would have ploughed this morning but it was such a miserable fore noon he didn't go out and we just did chores and odd jobs. The ground froze last night but turned softer in the night and rained or drizzled most of the morning. Dad went out and ploughed this after noon and I just did chores. Marj. went down this afternoon and stayed at Miss McQueen's for tea. I left Dad to do the milking to-night and went down to the Father & Son banquet in the Methodist church sunday school about six. I needn't have hurried as we didn't have tea till after seven and it was after ten when I got down to Aunty's to call for Marj. Capt Tom. Best of the Y.M.C.A. was the speaker.

Friday November 25th

This has been the nicest day we have had this month. It was mild and even sunny which is a rare treat these days. Dad. got a good day's ploughing in, at least to-gether we did for I went out when I got the chores done up this morning & ploughed till noon while Dad. came up to fix the fence where old Gladys gets out of her yard.

Win came over to see how rthe invalids were abd stayed to dinner. he & Marj. went down town this after noon and Marj. went o to the station and got an express parcel whcih she had sent to eaton's for. I hooked up the little team and went down to the mill and got some corn, buckwheat & tolled pats for the chickens a bag of flour for the house and some heavy chop for the twin pigs. I was goen about an bour & did chores the rest of trhe time.
