Dad. ploughed to-day but didn't get a very early start and was bothered quite a lot to get his strikes in the right place as he can't see the old dead furrows. I went out after dinner and helpe dhim measure off one & set stakes. I spent morning doing chires as well as most of the after noon. I went oc=ver to Martin's this morning to see if I could pam off any more cockrels on jack, but Sid & Else said he was pretty well loadedd with them just now

was bound to get into the cornfield. Marj. went down town this after noon and stayed for tea at Miss McQueen's and then went over to the Bagley's. I went down after tea and got my hair cut and then went up to Percy Ryerse's to see if he had done any figuring on the house yet but he hadn't. I went into Mrs. Bagley's where I found Marj. We stayed there for awhile & then went down to Aunty's where a party was just breaking up so we partook of coffee & cake and got home about twelve o'clock.
