down to Mr. Robinson's {diocese? meeting. Dad. came over to stay with the kids. They were both in bed when he came and didn't wake up all evening. Marj. and I went down and had a very nice time. It was in the Presbyterian Church, we figured it was the first nocturnal sleigh ride we had ever had to-gether & it is the first time Marj. has been out at night since the Horticultural Show. Friday January 16th

It has been thawing all day and snowed most of the day I did up the chores this morning and this after noon drove down to get some cow feed and rooster cheep at Billy Langs I found Billys shop full of customers bt o Billy and as Andrew Farr said he had been waiting for an bour for him I calle dup Tip Varey's to ask if they had seen him, they said hthere was a cemetry boarsd meetimng on that accounted for his absence. Frank came along while I wa waiting so I got him to help me bag up what I wanted and I thern I drove him up town and gome, we called in at Aunty's on our way. They are expecting Roy tonight. He is on his way to or from {a Con?}vention in Atlantic city and will be here till Sunday
