It has been thawing all day and snowed most of the day I did up the chores this morning and this after noon drove down to get some cow feed and rooster cheep at Billy Langs I found Billys shop full of customers but no Billy and as Andrew Low said he had been waiting for an hour for him I called up Tip Varey's to ask if they had seen him, they said there was a cemetry board meeting on so that accounted for his absence. Frank came along while I was waiting so I got him to help me bag up what I wanted and I then I drove him up town and home, we called in at Aunty's on our way. They are expecting Ray to-night. He is on his way to or from {a Con?}vention in Atlantic City and will be here till Sunday.

Dad. & Enah drove over this morning and left Joe & their cutter and took Queen and my cutter as Dad. had arranged to take Miss Grunert for a drive this afternoon. We all got bundled up and drove down to Aunty's to see Ray We found Ray, Quint, Huby, Win & David all there when we arrived but we left the children and drove up town for a few provisions and Huby Win & David had left when we got back, but Frank was there. Presently Dad. drove up and then Frank who was with Bob. Pickford and his new old horse left. Dad. expected to find Enah but she wasn't there so he took Joe & his own cutter and went off to look for her. We left about five. Beautiful day

Marj. didn't feel very well to-day and we were late getting around this morning, she wanted me to go to church but I couldn't get ready in time. I went over and swept out the school house and just as I got there Bill Donald & Lloyd Ryerse came to put a new elbow in the stove pipe and a new lock on the back door so I was over there quite awhile. I spent most of the after noon doing chores and washing dishes. Marj. read Jeffry Farnol books all day. Cloudy but not cold.

down to Mr. Robinson's {diocese? meeting. Dad. came over to stay with the kids. They were both in bed when he came and didn't wake up all evening. Marj. and I went down and had a very nice time. It was in the Presbyterian Church, we figured it was the first nocturnal sleigh ride we had ever had to-gether & it is the first time Marj. has been out at night since the Horticultural Show. I cut another small pine to-day
