We were late getting up this morning but as soon as I could get around to it I drove over home and we put the light rack on the sleighs and Frank and I took Joe & Queen over to Wilbur's to get the load of straw he offered me for nothing. We found Wilbur in the house playing solitaire, but he came out and we went over to Frank's where the big wheat stack is. We weren't long putting on a small load as we didn't want to take nay chnaces of upsetting and we got home here with it about one o'clock. We had donner an dthen oitche dit off over the granary. We had to move some hay first. Marj. was baking to-day but about four when we were ready to go back she put her head in the pans to rise, bundled the kid sup and went with me. IOver there we transferred to rthe cutter and got back home about six and found the bread in nice ocndition to bake. Dad. went down town to meet Dick who arrive don the one o'clock car with a grandclub back which the bank staff presented him with on his departure. Very mild and cloudy.

Dover was greatly excited over the news in to-day's paper that the Union Bank in Hamilton where Ada Sovereign is teller was robbed and Ada with another clerk who were alone in the bank were ordered at the points of revolvers to lie on their faces and then were roughly put into the vault and locked in. They were not there long as the manager soon came back and released them. The robbers only got $8 00. The papers are full enough of such happenings but that is about the closest it has ever come to Dover. Another choice bit of news is the announcement of Zeitha Barwell's & Alan Tibbett's engagement ,with the promise of a swell June wedding with all the trimmings. The old "Maple Leaf will be full of stale news this week.
