stayed till tea time. I soent the fore noon doing the dishes playing with the kids and comforting competing with Marj. in making tabloid puzzles. I had the laugh on her, she does the one that is in the opaper every day and as a whole ruke solves them in. aminute or two so tis mmorning she made one. I dsaid any body could make one but she wa sof the opinion that she had done somehting very clever and that I couldn't do it, whereat I sat down and wrote one out that she couldn't solve at all and I had to tell her the answer. I then atempted to make. acrossword puzzle but got stuck and she soent the remainder of the day composing a couple one of which she worke din the name sof Toby & T. Barrett and the other Toby DicjkQuint Frank Tim, Harry & Marj. so I guess I'll jave to admnit she is amarter yet than I am. After I gace the childfen teir dinners and gotr them to sleep (I rocked Harry B and put Gay in bed with Marj. where she slept for awhile) I went out and did some chores, and then came in and read for awile. I ha d acouple of pieces of bread & butter and some cheese during the a=fter noon and Marj. got up in time to start put the kifds to bed to-night and we ha dtea fairly early. Harry B woke up this evening and I ahd to rock hom for a long time. Marj. wrote Dorrie and we read "Two Gentlemen of Verona". Raw & cloudy, rained part of the day
