her she could get along without her this week as I helped her do a little wash this morning. I planted my tomato seeds after I got home but I wished I hadn't gone out as my tooth was very sore and I think the cold drive was not good for it. Raw wind

Wednesday March 4th

I did chores and had breakfast this morning and then lay down with the hot water bottle on my face and slept till noon. I'm not used to having any thing much the matter with me and I make a big fuss over what some people wouldn't pay much attention to, but my sore face made me feel tough. It is better to-night but still pretty sore. I didn't do much this after noon but a few chores and wash the kitchen floor for Marj. Frank walked over to-night before tea to see what was wrong so I told them I would be over to-day to go after wood or else go down and get Aunty and Aunty Alice, and it turned out a beautiful mild day. Marj. wrote a note to them and we told Frank to tell Aunty & Aunty Alice that if it was fair I would go down in the morning after them. Marj. made a cake and some cookies to-day and set bread. I mixed it stiff for her to-night.

Thursday March 5th

This has been another beautiful day although what wind there was came from the east. I went down this fore noon and brought Aunty & Aunty Alice out. We had a lovely visit although my face was pretty sore all the afternoon They stayed to tea which we had early and I drove them down in time for the Lenten service to-night.
