watch her as Aunty Alice was going up town. I went in too see Marj. for awhile and then went on up town and got my hair cut. I told Ina I would try to meet her at the Wiunding a Hill at five o'clock but as I went around by the farm and the roads that way are so bad I didn't get home till. nearly six. Just as Gay and I started for home it began to rain and got colder so Dad. let me have his mackinaw. It turned out to be a very rough night with high wind and a terrific down pour. Dad. & Frank hooked up Pommers & George to the big waggon & rack this morning and I don't know what all happened but they got away and tore out two or three fence posts in front of the house ryan in to the corner of the house broke the tongue, reach, rack and the end of the double-tree and finally grounds rto up over in Martin's fields.
