Saturday April 11th

I got around early this morning and got down town and went to Simcoe on the nine o'clock car. I visited Bramhill, Marston, Carter, and the Salvaton Army and finally telephoned Mrs. Porter, I asked all of them except Marston where I could get a girl to help in the house but there seem to be none available. Mrs. Porter said she had had very satisfactory girls from the Barnardo Homes in Toronto so I sent them a card when I got back to Aunty's. I came home on the 11 car and brought the wool sack and twine. When I took it in home Harry B. wanted so to come home with me that I brought him out for a visit and he was tickled pink to get home and to see Marj. I finished my ploughing this after noon. Fine day but cool wind.

Sunday April 12th Easter

Bill Donald came in quite early in the forenoon and took Ina home with him, so her sojourn with us has ended and although Marj. will miss her very much it is a relief to be alone in the house again. After considerable deliberation we decide the best course to pursue was to take Gay down to Aunty's for a while

and harry B. back to the farm and that would leave just marj. just the baby to look after and she could take her time to the house work. Ina is coming again to wash on Wednesday. This after noon I took Harry B back to the farm and although he wasn't enthusiastic abouyt going he went quite cheef=rfully and then I went on down and proposed to Aunty 7 Aunty Alice our scherme for wishing gay on them, they had suggested it though so they were quite agreeable and Aunty said she would d=see mr. Cornish to-night and try to get him to bring her out to-morrow after Gay. Fine a.m. Cloudy raw p.m.
