I went from there over and got three more dozen from Mrs. Monroe. I spent most of the afternoon making a gate for the yard here so that I can straighten up the fence and yet have a way to drive in. |

Friday May 1st
I drove over to get some hatching eggs from Mrs. McBride this morning and was there quite awhile. She could only let me have four dozen and I wanted thirteen. I went from there over and got three more dozen from Mrs. Monroe. I spent most of the afternoon making a gate for the yard here so that I can straighten up the fence and yet have a way to drive in.
