I walked over to Tom Stone's this morning to see if i could get a ,oad of hay. I found i could and could have Tom's waggon & rack to haul it on. When i got home I found Aunty Alice 7 Quint here but they only stayed a very few minutes. It was 11 o'clock when i got back to Tom's with the team and by thew time we put the rack on the waggon & Tom. had put on a loa dot was after noon. I didn't unload it till after dinner and it took me about an hour to do it alone as I had to

I ploughed this morning and this after noon rolled down the peas and what I had ploughed and got in about an hour's ploughing afterwards Mabel came over to tea, and Marj. walked part way home with her to-night and called on the Lampkins on her way back. I was dead sleepy. Still very cold, cloudy and showery. Rotten weather
