Harry B. got me up a little after 4.30 this morning and as he got in our bed I though I might as well stay up, so I killed a hen that I shut up last night and had the milking done before six. I went at Quints sign before breakfast and again right after breakfast and worked at it till noon before I finished it.

We stoppe din too at Cam. McBride's and Marj. borrowed a couple more Staurday Evening post's from Mrs. McBride. Herb. Law has been ploughing there fir wheat. Hot, nice breeze
