My dear Toby,

As I have written to all the other folks I thought I woulkd drop you a line. I am awfully sorry that I could ot get a final decision these Sittings of the Court but I suppose it was too much to expect from the old Master. He has a good deal of authority and & you have to humour him these fellows if you want to et on as they can make things very unpleasant if you upset them. I have had one or two tussels with in the way of new barns & house a alterations to the present one. You will all have to have things very nice but dont give up work as thats a source of helath & pleasure when tyoy have bnot ot worry about want of money. You will have to come obvwr with Mrds barrett & see the old country. Perhaps you would like to settle here but I expect the land of one's birth holdsone. Well there is nothing to worry about & it it only a matter of time. Glasd the Tree is fliurishing Hope Mrs Barrett the children & younare all well & that poor old {--} is better. Tell Tim to write to me & tell me how his stock is getting on Kindest regards to all Yoirs very sincerely
