when he got here as when he heard that Mr. Parks was to get such a large commission he was afraid he might be a crook, however when Dad. had showed him some of his recent letters he was reassured. It gave Dad a little uneasiness though to think that Mr. Parks would tell a total stranger so much but I suppose, he is so full of the subject that he can't think of anything else. Dad. was down at the bank the other day and found that Mr. Parks had put £100. to his credit just as a gift to be paid back "if & when". though he says now there is no if about it. Fine, warm.
