to the trip and Charlie took them down. I was over there telling tyhem to watch for Charlie when Harvey & Mrs. Evans brought poor old Dove home, he went over there tbis morning to help them hauin oats & had worked all day and to-night fell off a oad and struck his head & shoulders on the ground. He wa sbadly shaken up and frightened so was Mrs. Lampkins when she saw him. I spent a pleasant evening with the baby as she wouldn't sleep. I don;t think there wa sanything the matter with her but I had her upo most of the time Marj. was away. Very hot 7 close all day, but much cooler to-night.
