We all went down town this morning and soent th4e day at Aunty's Dad. & I baile dout the old well at the Shanty door and they think when it fills again they will be able to use the water Quint was there for dinner and he helpe dus after dinner for awile. Marj. wet up town and got. adress orders for some xcrab apples. Dad. & I also patched up the barn bridge a little.I went down to Carl. Ryerse's after dinner with Quint and blew in 30 cts on a corn cob pipe and a package of tobacco so that I can now appease my occasional hankeromng for a smoke. Maerj. wet ove rto the Lampkin's for a while to-night and I had to prance with the baby nearly the whole time she was gone. Cloudy this morning clearing & sultry this after noon.
