Bill Donald brought Ina over this morning, she was here yesterday but as there was so much ironing she promised Marj. another day to make up for the one she lost last week. I rode down to the corner with Bill to get my {cre}am can which I forgot yesterday. When I got back to the {g}ate Charlie Shand was just issuing from it with his ladder which I borrowed some time ago from the schoolhouse, so I helped Charlie carry it home. Harry Blake was at the schoolhouse putting up the revised voter's list for No 3 polling division. Young Shoff came to cut the corn about nine o'clock. Tuesday October 13th

I spent most of the day digging potatoes and have about one row to dig yet. They are not turning out any thing like as well as I expected. Mr. Bagley & Essie came over this forenoon to pick the Tolman Sweets on shares. They picked about five bushels and left us three and there are a lot on the tree yet which Essie says they will come out and get another time. Beautiful day.
