Mr. Cornish came over about four o'clock to wonder what was goingon to be done about decorating the church for the Thanksgiving Service to-morrow, just whu he cam eover to the farm to wonder about it i didn't quite make out. We came home fairly early and I went over to Mrs. McBride's afterwards and got 5 doz. eggs for {illegible}. Cloudy & quite cool. |

Friday October 16th
This being the 5th anniversary of our wedding, we all went down to Aunty's for dinner to celebrate it, and as it seems when people have been married for the length of time we have they are eligible for wooden wedding presents, the family presented us with a cord of stove wood and good hardwood at that. Dad. & Frank brought it out this morning just before we left for town. Quint and Frank were down for dinner. I spent most of the after noon in Bob Leaney's barber shop and we came home fairly early. Lovely day raining to-night.
