{Trum?} Walker came in this morning to ask me if I {word obscured} {thrash?} for him to-day if he needed me. Fine day but cool wind.

{Wednes}day October 28th

{It beg?}an to snow about day break this morning and {word obscured} up till after noon. It then partly cleared up but {word obscured} cold and is freezing hard to-night.
