{Trum?} Walker came in this morning to ask me if I {word obscured} {thrash?} for him to-day if he needed me. {Wednes}day October 28th

{It beg?}an to snow about day break this morning and {word obscured} up till after noon. It then partly cleared up but {word obscured} cold and is freezing hard to-night. Thursday October 29th

As I hadn't heard anything from home since Monday {word obscured} to go over this orning to see. fi tey were going to thrash {word obscured} so what arrangements we could make about vi[oting just as I was ready to start Jack 7 Albert McB{ride?} {word obscured} in with Dad. & Frank and headed for tyher polls.
