15th Mowing in the Upper Field opened out all the coils to Dry

16th Fine Finished the West stack of Fine hay Filled the Barn on the sticks shut the Barn Door north and put a Good Lot of Fine hay on the Floor put a Lot in to Day

17th Fine W Wind putting in From the upper Field Mowing Gathering The Bohemian Pic Nick

18th a very hot Day Leander and Hugh Ann Went to Dundee took 2 Tubs of Butter 8 1/2 Doz of Eggs Mowing some in upper Field made some coils of hay Fixed the Wheelbarrow Hurted my Hand most awful hot Day Narcisse to Montreal Bought of J Tyo Flour 200 Wt 4.80 Tin Pans 1.80 2 Tubs 60 Tax 5 Scythe and Stone 65 34 yds Cotton 2.38 Tobacco 20 4 Bars of Soap 20 c Starch 10 Glass 15 Bought to Be above Made a {illegible} Pepper 30 1/3 oil cloth 25 Pair of Braces Boots Pipes calico Dress Goods
