July | 20 | very heavy thunder & lightning & rain last night Ad Jennet & Bessie & Jenee went to Gananoque to see Barnums show |
21 | mowed the orchard fine day & part of the midle field | |
22 | mowed in the midle field in the forenoon Wallace McNiel helped in the afternoon had 3 loads put 1 over the cows 1 over the horses 1 in the old barn little mow | |
23 | finished cuting south half of midle field & Raked part of it cut part of the North half raked & drew 3 loads put 2 in the New Barn & 1 in the little mow of the old Barn Wallace McNiel helped in the afternoon | |
24 | cut all the North half of midle field all but a piece next the north ditch that is left for seed the grass is very light Ad raked it into to winrows very warm day | |
