July 20 very heavy thunder & lightning & rain last night Ad Jennet & Bessie & Jenee went to Gananoque to see Barnums show
21 mowed the orchard fine day & part of the midle field
22 mowed in the midle field in the forenoon Wallace McNiel helped in the afternoon had 3 loads put 1 over the cows 1 over the horses 1 in the old barn little mow
23 finished cuting south half of midle field & Raked part of it cut part of the North half raked & drew 3 loads put 2 in the New Barn & 1 in the little mow of the old Barn Wallace McNiel helped in the afternoon
24 cut all the North half of midle field all but a piece next the north ditch that is left for seed the grass is very light Ad raked it into to winrows very warm day
25 Ad went to help Wallace McNiel this forenoon Wallace came & helped him in the afternoon got in 3 loads put 1 in old Barn big mow 2 over the cows
